Relay Walk & Team Walk OptionEntering the event as a relay team allows the 42km course to be broken down into smaller distances (3 legs) to be shared out amongst the relay team members. Combined together, the relay team will cover the full 42km course, but individual team members will only travel on their selected segment or segments, and then hand off to their next relay team member.
A walker can walk any or only one of the course segments. Simply select your starting point at the time of registration and your walk Bib will be available at the nominated pit stop for you on the day. Then on the day of the walk (when you have completed your walk) let the Marathon Event Team members know that you are completing your walk at the Pit Stop where you chose to end.

Typically, family, friends and work colleagues will support your efforts by wanting to donate. There are a few ways to handle their donations:
- The easiest is to direct them to the secure online donation page where they can donate using their credit card - they simply allocate the donation to you as the walker and it builds on your fundraising tally - the donor will receive receipt in the mail;
- If the donor prefers to use EFT, cheque or Postal Order then they simply need to let us know the details of their donation by email or mail (e.g. the name of the walker they are sponsoring, and their personal details if they require a receipt). See payment details above;
If you are collecting money from your donors, you should keep a record of their donations by filling out the official receipt book, which you can order
from by contacting our office- when you eventually deposit all collected monies with us (by credit card, EFT, cheque or Postal Order)
simply send the receipt books back to our office as well.
- Your donors (or you) can also pay directly into the GFA bank account at any Commonwealth Bank branch office making sure they make reference to who the money is to go too. See payment details above
The Bridge Marathon Team wish to thank and inspire all the participants in the 2015 event for their fantastic efforts to raise funds for Bridge of Hope children. There are prizes for the highest individual fund raisers. Click Here to learn more
